Good to Know:
Arrival: Review directions and travel time to the marina. Charters are scheduled according to local (Michigan) time.
Clothing: weather can change quickly, be prepared with sweatshirts, jackets, rain gear.
Other gear: wear/bring hats, sunglasses, sunblock and non-slip soft soled shoes.
At the discretion of the Captain, you may be asked to remove your footwear.
Drinks/Food: You are welcome to bring along a cooler with food and drinks (in moderation) for your group. Many local restaurants offer great carry out options.
Upon request, we can also provide a cooler and ice and plastic cups for your use.
Life Jackets: Personal flotation devices are provided. Children 12 and younger must wear a PFD at all times.
If you have one that the child is comfortable and familiar with, please bring it along.
Restrooms: Given the short duration of our tours, it is recommended that shore-side facilities be used before the trip.
On-board facilities are available.
Gratuities: A great deal goes into making your cruise an exceptional experience. The charter cost ensures that all systems are go and helps to cover the fuel, maintenance, insurance, credentialing, and so on. Your captain will work hard to do everything possible accomodate you - tipping is always at your discretion and is greatly appreciated.
Smoking, e-cigarettes and tobacco use is not permitted. In accordance with Coast Guard regulations, there is a zero-tolerance policy for illegal drugs on board.
